| HARMFUL SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR — AWARENESS AND RESPONSE |
Five distinct lessons for children’s homes in England, with age-appropriate cases involving children aged 6–11, five coloured HTML diagrams, expandable case feedback and fifteen self-knowledge questions. The course supports safeguarding practice; it does not replace specialist assessment, local procedures or clinical care.
Developmentally informed recognition, immediate safeguarding, specialist referral, individualised safety planning and recovery for children’s homes in England.
What you'll learn
Differentiate developmentally expected behaviour from concerning or harmful behaviour.
Respond safely and non-judgementally to incidents and disclosures.
Record and refer concerns without conducting unauthorised investigations.
Contribute to proportionate, child-centred safety plans.
Support recovery and review safeguarding effectiveness.
Requirements
- Read five lessons and complete the five applied case workshops.
- Answer fifteen self-knowledge questions before revealing feedback.
- Complete ten-question final assessment with an 80% suggested pass mark.
